I am having a lot of problems trying to get greens to go through my juicer. I try to roll them up tight, but a lot of it still gets shot out the back into the pulp container, I feel like I'm wasting a lot of greens this way. Do anyone have any suggestions?

I have another great tip; if you use Garlic, Ginger or any other strong tasting product's make sure you're the LAST person to make your juice or else the flavor will bleed out into the next juice recipe and possibly turn off your kids or wife from drinking there healthy cocktail.

Chuck, try Mangos with spinish and parsley it's very yummy and the mango hides the taste very well of spinish and the parsley has a refreshing taste.
Also another I did was with blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and spinish and parsley and an apple and could not taste the veggies at all.
One that is good to lose weight and has many benefits is Pinapple, celery, parsley and cactus, since cactus is a little slimmy I did on it's own first then reran thru juicer and it took out the slim then juiced the rest of the stuff and the pinapple over runs the whole drink so it's like drinking green pinapple juice.

Hi Wesley lee,
got this great diet recipe from this show I watched today called "Reboot your Body". About two guys overweight due to a certain desease and the steriods caused diabeties and weight gain. Both gentleman lost over 100 lbs and thier diabetes was miniamalized. The juice is called "Mean Green" and consist of
(1) Bunch of Kale, (4) stalks of Celery, (1) Cucumber, (4) Granny Apples, (1/2) Lemon and ginger root.
This juice also increases energy so some kind of exercise is recommended such as a 10 minuite walk. But please consult your physician if any exercise my affect your conditions. Hope you enjoy this recipe, many say it works. I am kinda small so no weight loss is needed, in fact I could use a few pounds.

Greetings Fellow Juicers,
When I put the intact 1/2 lemon peel in the juicer it shot out the back of it still intact. I feel the intact peel would have damaged my juicer if I continued to try to juice it.

I, too, am a Type 2 diabetic (6 years) and I discovered a way to get my morning numbers down. Its from a book published in 1958 called Vermont Folk Medicine and though it takes a bit of getting used to, I can attest to its effects. Its the 2 tbs apple cider vinegar and 2 tbs honey in 8 oz. of water at bedtime and upon rising. I'll give you the secret, blend 48 oz. with 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/3 cup honey (slightly more than recipe calls for, I know) in luke warm water. Then refridgerate in a pitcher and you are set for 3 days. I get the honey from Costco (big container) and just pour it into measuring cup, saves alot of time! I just take my night and morning meds with it. My morning numbers are between 115 and 130 and my A1C is down almost 2 points (8.9 to 7.1 taken just last week). Doctor was so surprised he ahd to ask me what I was doing. (He was probably nervous about losing his drug company kickback?) As for the weight, juicing itself, (many of these are meal substitutes you may have noticed) is very helpful in that area. My favorite is the carrot-apple varieties but those are relatively high in carbs (and protein and fiber!) so I use those as meal subs. Good luck.
